The Feral Farmhouse Project is what we call our ongoing pledge drive to raise the funds we need to not only take care of the cats, but expand our sanctuary. Our dream is to create an extensive catio system weaving around our property through various indoor and outdoor sections, including a garden where visitors can sit and enjoy spending time with our cats. In addition to creating a fabulous space for the resident felines, we're also working on a permanent home for our flower and gift shop, Feral Flowers, which will also help to support the sanctuary. Once everything is completed, our goal is to become a safe, all-inclusive space for people who love cats to gather, release their anxieties, and just soak up nature for a while. Suffering from anxiety ourselves, we know firsthand how soothing simply petting a cat can be and we'd like to share that feeling with others who could benefit from the fur and purr!
